The purpose of this solution package is to assist operators and turnkey vendors in Design and Planning of Macro and In-Building network roll-out and infrastructure deployment.

AiGateway (Asian Internet Gateway)
The Asian Internet Gateway (AiGateway) is one of Asia's largest and most ambitious subsea fiber-optic cable projects, spearheaded by Asian Internet Gateway Berhad (AiGB). This transformative initiative represents a substantial investment in next-generation telecommunications infrastructure. The project involves laying a 256 Tbps subsea fiber-optic cable that will connect Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak to Guam, USA. AiGateway is poised to significantly enhance internet speed, accessibility, and efficiency at affordable rates nationwide, including underserved rural areas. Both individuals and businesses across Malaysia will benefit from high-speed internet services ranging from 50 Mbps to 1,000 Mbps through Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH), supporting the government's mission to provide equitable digital access for all citizens.
Ready for Service
Scheduled for phased completion between 2024 and 2027, the AiGateway project will provide significant internet capacity to Malaysia and neighboring Asian countries, supporting decades of digital growth. Upon completion, Malaysia will be globally recognized for its world-class internet infrastructure, delivering reliable, high-speed connectivity at competitive rates. The project aims to eliminate internet access challenges, enabling consumers and businesses to enjoy uninterrupted, high-quality online experiences with speeds ranging from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps. This advancement will drive both economic and social progress across the nation.
